McDonogh School
Ariosa was contracted to perform central plant upgrades – the removal and demolition of two existing pumps and replace with 6 new pumps. We installed a new air separator, a 500-ton chiller, a 1,500 GPM double cell cooling tower. There was also the addition of 5,628 feet of new 6-inch underground heating water and 14 inch underground chilled water lines that fed 5 different buildings on the campus. The central plant upgrades included a control upgrade as well as a new sand filter and water treatment system. There were numerous sizes of pipe used on this job from 2” pipe for the domestic water to 18” pipe that went from the new chiller to the new cooling tower.
